I think that would be easier to do honestly. Groups operating in Luke's area can do some questionable stuff (gambling, bootleg Maybe, loans etc. Stuff that isn't stringing people out all drugged up or pimpin out women) but he has very strict rules in place. " You pay me and I protect you and let you run your business unhindered by rivals and like in your area, but you break away from the rules or miss payments and you are no longer in my protection and if others want to move in.. well I won't stop them" while also telling them "if someone is not under my protection, you can buy them out or "take over" but you better believe there better bot be shoot outs, kidnapping, fires etc etc ot Innocents getting hurt otherwise you risk my full attention coming down on you"

So everyone is afraid to act out against Cage and unknowingly are making the neighborhoods a safer place by eliminating drugs, guns, gangbanging and the like but still have that crime world front. But it's just simply a bodyguard superhero service

Hey man, utter garbage are some strong words!

It was lowkey trash tho... but i'm not sure if it's trash because I came up on JMS's version and was inherently biased against Walker's take, or if the depiction was simply trash point blank. Or if the depiction was fine and it was the rest of the plot that made it trash. But others seem to really have liked it!

David Walker's Nighthawk was the epitome of wackness and the artwork was atrocious.

There was ZERO connection between Walker's Nighthawk and the iteration that appeared in the Squadron Supreme where dude was investigating an alien plot to invade Earth.

And then to make things worse, Walker up and just killed off the character for no damned reason.

How funny would it be if SM was web swinging in Harlem and Luke leaped like he did when he took out that chopper in the crew and knocked him on a rooftop then said "you should have called ahead" or something like that?

Ah I see what your saying. That's fine, and as I mentioned in my other post, he can let thing's go on that are a little more grey area, but drugs, drive bys, arson etc etc he doesn't allow. Basically he moved his bodyguard business to the crime world and St first glance It looks like he is protecting crime rings, but in reality z he is using that to reduce crime

The baby turned purple. So they think it's Purple Man's baby. Luke was devastated. You'd think they'd just go on Morey and get the dna results from him but nooooooo we gotta make a whole 5-6 issue miniseries about it. It's cool tho, it gives me at least 3-4 months of entertaining the ridiculousness of it before some silly reveal nips it in the bud.

Yup that'd work; i'd still like him to have his own semi-legitimate place to, like what he got with the club/lounge at the end of season 2. Like the base of his operations and a place that becomes a stable in the NYC Marvel; to allow room for some more supporting cast as well. Hell, it can be the same club that first met T'Challa/beat up Puff Daddy in. Homage to Hudlin lol

Goodness is this Cage's new life and new stories to be told? What's next season, can cage finally get a car loan for the midsize car of his dream's as we got through issue after issue of finding the right car, checking carfax, and going through the loan process and if he has approved credit??

I agree, like you said, Cage tower sounds cool. And Yeah, his base operation is the tower where he generally hangs out and his other known business could be the body guard service

Yeah, that was a rather disgraceful way for him to go out. Hmm, come to think of it, the new Nighthawk in the new Squadron Supreme of America . . . sooner or later, there's gonna be a major confrontation between the Squadron Supreme of America and the Avengers and/or the Agents of Wakanda. Black Panther vs. Nighthawk would be a great one-on-one to see in the midst of that.
