Actually, now that I think about it, having someone try to resurrect Killmonger (who may or may not come back willingly) using the Altar would be a great way to bring Jericho Drumm into the picture.

Not really feeling the idea of Killmonger coming back or getting resurrected. His last speech in the first movie had an everlasting impact that resonated with me and a lot of people and to bring him back just makes that whole speech mute and won't amount to anything.

Just bring in Achebe, M'butu, Detsuri faction, White Wolf or even Namor.

I never did read his Shaft series that was apparently good but he underwhelmed me with PM&IF, meh'd me with the Nighthawk, bored me with the Luke series. I was still willing to give a silver lining to the brotha but this Kyle news? That right there??? Un. ac. cep. ta. ble!

And Marvel... just a complete botch of one of the GOAT batman amalgams and an overall great, complex, tragic character. Ridiculous!

I mean, it's pretty much guaranteed that we will see Erik in the ancestral plane. His arc is complete. There is no need to free about it he isn't going to be alive.

That I don't mind. Even a dream sequence will do. but full on resurrection? I don't know about that.

It was. For both T'challa and Killmonger.

For T'challa, it was a step in doing what is necessary as king, even if he didn't want to. He didn't want to kill Killmonger and he almost died because of it and sent the world into chaos. He had pity as soon as he put hte spear in his gut. But it had to be done.

For Killmonger, that last line was too perfect and added an ounce of ooomph to the character. Plus... where do you take him now? The only next logical place would be giving Killmonger an army or something. Another rebellion is pointless, it would just be a redo of the story.

MCU keeps killing off villains because they know repeatedly bringing them back like the comics cheapens them. Most villains are only good for one story.

And before someone brings up Loki, there is a reason they turned him into a mischievous side kick and not a villain after Avengers. And once again... Loki never made it to the end of credits dead until Thanos crushed his neck.

From a narrative standpoint, killing him was almost certainly the right thing to do.

But if they feel Jordon might be another Loki, odds are descent supply will meet demand.
