She does look good here. Cyclops looks great as well. I can't wait for this issue. It should be good. I should probably temper myself so that I don't get my hopes up too high. I just want Jean to be confident, capable, and somewhat powerful.

Honestly, it makes me thrilled that one of my favorite artists at Marvel is huge Jean fan. I'm really hoping this Giant-Size issue is only the beginning of his work with Jean.

I would really like to see this happen, Dauterman is a great penciller. have him for Jean journey would
be a dream

That is simply stunning. Then again, every piece Dauterman does is stunning. He was excellent in Cyclops' solo series. I can't wait to see what he brings to Jean and Emma's Giant Sized adventure.

I need more of Russell's Jean as a general rule. This is the best she's looked since being resurrected, and that's saying a LOT.

Larraz is a very close second.

I have issues with how Larraz draws women, but his Jean is gorgeous

Larraz is great, he is one of the few who made the MarvelGirl costume tolerable.

I would like her costumes a lot better without the masks or the headgear. I don't see the reason for it.

Still I am glad she is leaving the Marvel Girl mini skirt behind. It's just too dated. I liked the version she had without a mask in AoXM, but I wouldn't want even that to be her ongoing look.

With that said since they decided to go back to the X-Man Red costume (but a yellow and green version of it) what was wrong with her red and blue costume? That was one thing I liked about Phoenix Resurrection and X-Men Red. Both updated her colors to red and blue, from green and yellow. The Phoenix costume was blue and red, and her new costume was blue and red.

Still, a yellow and green version of her X-Men Red costume is still better than the outdated mini skirt.
