The funny thing here is that while those descriptors don't really fit, that kind of vibe is what I get from her characterization. It's very "not quite past 1950s lifeless housewife". The costume hardly matters if they would just fix her character.

Most Emma fans like Jean too! I know Emma and Jean are both in my top 3 characters (Rachel will always be #1 for me). I wouldn't worry too much about it. Lol a lot of us were hoping that Jean or Storm is the 2nd queen of the Hellfire Club that was hinted at for Marauders 3 and 4.

That would be perfect for you if it was Jean because being "Black Queen" would be current again, and you might even find a new picture to alternate out for avatar.

I like Jean but can agree her development since her return has been garbage! Where is the fiery personality? She’s been passive af. I dont want Jean as the Xmen’s carebear which is what her “development” in red amounted to.

I'm annoyed that the current Hickman Jean was crying in the back of the shuttle instead of actually doing something. It feels like Hickman is nailing square pegs into round holes to tell his story.

Besides the moment when she almost snapped on the self-hating kid in the park, X-Men Red Jean wasn't given moments to flare up the way I like, but she wasn't nearly as meek and non-existent as Hickman's Jean. No comparison.

Jean and Emma are my absolute favorites.

Really excited to see Jean in X-Force especially after seeing the X-Force 3 cover. I feel like her Red costume would be perfect for that book.
