Somewhere in the thread of figuring out who the character is supposed to be, she was listed as "LUNA" which was extrapolated to be a version of Selene. So maybe theres a slim chance she's a bastardized version of Luna...Magneto's Granddaughter?

For what it's worth, I agree with you. I think Scott spending the last decade, pissing on the memory of his relationship with Jean, shows just how little it mean't to him. I don't think I'll ever understand the fondness, Jean Grey fans, have for his character.

I assume it's a time thing. I haven't been a Jean fan for long, not until Teen Jean, in all honesty.

Nostalgia. The same one that makes kitty and colossus come back everytime.

I also became a Jean fan because of teen Jean. the adult was dead when I started reading comics.
I don't think Jean meant little to him, but he move on from her. That past was behind him

I thought Scemma was more toxic lust. The way she use to make fun of/dress up as Jean, have Scott call her Jean, to get their motors running. SMH

It was never about lust with Logan/Jean hate. It is more about people feeling threatened that Jean had a sexuality that Scott couldn't control
the biggest crime is a woman having her own sexuality and Jean paid for it.

Been re-reading a LOT of Ultimate X-Men storylines this year. Just about to start into #79 and just wanted to post this stunning solo cover of Jean by Yanick Paquette, love his take on Jean here. The story deals with the aftermath of the death of a very important X-figure who Jean had a special rapport with (don’t wanna spoil too much for those who have not yet read the Ultimate run) and I just think Paquette captured Jean’s emotions rather beautifully on this cover.
