Well, at least Mystique finally dies and we can at least have hopes on a decent focus on Jean.

I'm still not feeling this movie, but let's hope it's not too bad.

The only name worthy of Jean is Phoenix, even if she doesn't have the force.
though at this point most X-men are world wide famous so code names are kind of useless anyway.

He didn’t put psyche blocks on her powers.

I didny sat it was an exact copy, but he controlled her powers via medicaton (and emotional manipulation), but actually the others esp Vanya sister reached her through love, and did not give up on her, the way the father did. Charles was an authoritative fugure who it seems from the trailers (and from X3s interpretation) who suppressed Jean’s potential.

Yeah they go to save the astronauts and she seemingly comes in contact with the a force that corrupts her with absolute power. The blonde woman is an alien playing the role of Emma Frost and Lilandra (of sorts) from the comics. Lilandra as she's an alien, and Emma as she is trying to corrupt and control Jean for her races' ambitions.
