Jean Grey: Marvel Girl, Phoenix Appreciation 2019

Jean did adopt a codename after Marvel Girl / Phoenix, but it didn't stick. She was Marvel Woman at some point in the 90s, didn't she? I remember seeing a book where she was noted as that.

She was referred to as Marvel Woman once during the Infinity War mini-series. Canonically, she was just Jean Grey from X-Men (1991) #1 until Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix #4 when she adopted Phoenix as her codename.

I don't think it's the same thing, because Wonder Woman is her own franchise, so she can't really have a long-lasting relationship with someone that isn't from it, and Scott & Jean are nowhere as iconic or have been together as long as Clark and Lois...

if you remove charles and magneto, you can see it that way.
