Yes I agree with you! I do believe Logan loved Jean deeply. Maybe it started as lust, but it grew to be much more. Time and again we have seen his love for Jean shine through.

The thing about Morrison is that when it comes to iconic writers for the X-Men, his run landed him a seat. It may be controversial and not everyone may like it, but that's the case for Claremont, too. Iconicism does not equal universally liked.

He also managed to become one of the foremost writers of Jean Grey - something I don't even consider Claremont to be in the top three of anymore. Now, it's Louise Simonson, Tom Taylor, and Grant Morrison.

Why Thank You! Storm and Logan were in a very cute relationship before he died. I don't see why they won't get back together now that he is back.

Also, this is my first time joining a community so super excited to be here. Happy New Year fellow Jean Grey fans!

Yeah, he spent the better part of 5 years lusting after someone in a committed relationship who made it clear that they were just friends. That's not far off of an episode of Law and Order: SVU.

Ok, I actually had know idea he thought of Jean when he died. Do you recall what issue that was?

I think the fact that Jean thought she was choosing the "Good Guy" instead of the "Bad Boy" but wound up with someone who didn't really love her, gives her character a certain kind of pathos.

It was at the end of Death of Wolverine, it was one of his last memories before he die.

Okay, now. Anyone claiming Scott didn't and doesn't love Jean is just lying to themselves.

I wouldn't count that one as a good thing.

Well...onto other topics of interest. How long a wait does everyone think it will be until Jean uses those pink powers?

Personally? I think she already has - remember that explosion of psychic energy at the end of Extermination?

Never, as Zordon say "Too much pink energy is too dangerous"

    Also, nice avatar.

She's getting a new love interest and we're gonna have a whole new angle to the love triangle stuff with Cyclops, probably, given it's probably being handled by Rosenberg and he (and a number of other X-Writers) are Jott shippers. I'm into it. I'm excited to see who it is.

Rosenberg said he prefer Jean alone or with somebody else

Interesting, then why hasn't she tapped into it since then? Writing issue or is it a boost they are saving for later?

Damn I know Morrison Cyclops didn't love Jean at all but to say that Cyclops doesn't love her is just a plain lie. there is many evidence and despictions of his affection after morrison
