There's no way that Jean won't be in the MCU, even after Dark Phoenix.

As far as Kaya Scodelario... eh. She's not bad, but I'm not a huge fan. It really depends on the direction they go.

Even if they don’t start out with Jean, she will appear somewhere down the line. I see a lot of people suggesting actresses for Jean so a lot of fans are hoping she will appear.

You don’t feel “marvel girl” is cheesy?

For one “girl” doesn’t accurately convey jean’s Presence and gravity. She’s an experienced hero, and a grown up.

For two, “marvel” in the name of a marvel character is just so incredibly cheesy to me. Imagine if there was a “DC boy” character. It’s strange that she would go with “marvel” because it’s not Like they know they are in a marvel comic book. I don’t get it.

Just my opinions of course, and I respect yours. I just don’t really understand how people don’t see the cheese factor in this codename.
marvel is adjective and DC isn't. so captain marvel. ms marvel all work.

the problem of marvel girl is: not have been used for a long time.

Jean doesn't has a secret ID

also she should be Marvel worman

I would like if she is there from the start (on a modified version of the O5). Hopeful she doesn't die, that has been done two times.

or maybe she comes back from the dead on a later film.

It'd be interesting if they just started the X-Men in media res, post Dark Phoenix Saga, and have Jean come back ala X-Factor or something like that.

There is no way Disney wouldn’t want to use her, she’s much more family friendly than Emma, and less racially-complicated than Psylocke.

Wolverine isn't exactly family friendly either.

    Psylocke, yeah, she's in trouble.

Yeah but Emma doesn’t play well with others and just comes off as a ****.

Yeah, I wonder how they are even going to do Wolverine without blood or killing.
    seems difficult

Not sure you wanna use that word here.

Also, being abrasive and cause trouble is exactly why I expect her to be a big part of the MCU.

I don't think so, she is on better use as villain

A lot of superheroes movies have killing. that is not a problem at all.

Marvel might leave Wolverine for later

I don't hate Emma but I think she is maybe too mature, the MCU is very simple I see Disney trying to play something family focused, calm and easy regarding their interactions, with little drama and if there is drama then not personal.
I think she has chances to join but that may not be 100% sure, she could even be a different character there.
