Loved Jean in the lastest issue. Also I really liked that Hickman mentioned the Phoenix. That makes definately that the Bird will play a significant role. I still think Jean Grey: Reenter Phoenix seems propriate here

Yes. But if they use that title, which I love, (based off the initial Phoenix story/cover "Ener: The Phoenix"), it needs to be a great story with significance beyond 1 issue and with great artwork!

Well, I have a few:
1) What is the Phoenix connection to the M'Kraan Crystal, besides being Guardian? When is it in there? Who made the crystal?

2) What is Phoenix connection to Chandelar and the Shi'Ar?

3) What is the connection to Shi'Ar deities K'thri and Sharra

4) there was a story around early 2000 about Phoenix and the Sun with some powerful enemies who live there. What connection there?

What story was that? I know Claremont allegedly tied with Thunderbird III/Neal Shaara being some kind of Phoenix counterpart/opposite in Revolution around then, but I don't know the details or if any hints at it made it to print.

The first thing the Phoenix needs is more junk tacked on just for the sake of doing it. I know! Let's say the Phoenix was created by the Biker Mice From Mars <exec. prod. by Stan Lee>! Why? Because there is no hard rule saying we can't.

There is nothing in the Marvel universe I love more than Phoenix mythos, so any one of those stories would be interesting, new, organic, revisit old themes with new ideas, and even gives Jean a chance to be in the Phoenix costume again and kick ass on a cosmic scale without worry of dying or making her teammates feel obsolete. I would love those stories.

Agreed she had a clear distinct voice on the Quiet Council and managed to re-focus the discussion before it got out of hand not to mention her put down of Creed was delicious to watch and yup I even loved the beer sharing scene.

Can't wait to see what she does in X-Force.
