They should respect each other for who they are and what they do but they should HATE each other.

I definitely don't think that Jean and Emma should be the best of friends. They should respect each other for who they are and what they do but they should HATE each other.

What does any character get from any interaction ever?

Considering how many fans are permanently locked in time at the one moment in Morrison's run, it shouldn't surprise anyone that the defining interaction between Emma and Jean is rivalry. Not surprising that writers want to explore that interaction, since it is the first time they've interacted with both in the physical world since Morrison.

jean has been locked on Morrison's run for 15 years, not it seems like forever.

I don't like tht fans think that people it is on the past it shouldn't have any consequences.

It’s crazy how much I agree with this

I’d never wanna see jean down on that level. Yes I think jean will always be hurt by the past. But I think it’s in character for jean to be above that- to use a higher level of conscious effort to not let these emotions stop her from doing the right thing in any given scenario ( like helping Storm in the upcoming one shot.)
