Oh what might have been. I’d hate to think that thread, which received many faves, (the most important currency) contributed to X-Man coming back... like this. Generation X was my favorite recent X-Book (so fantastic and gay) so these past few months have been disappointing. (like, mildy. in the GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS I suppose it’s “NBD” that I don’t like this creative direction for Nate) I guess it makes sense he’s averse to couples because he was always attaching himself to throuples and polycules in his book.

Second fact: everyone looks great in a mesh shirt! Nate had one, too, just like Madelyne.

With them keeping Cable young I guess there will be no opening for Nate appearing any time soon. I was hoping he would eventually get a start over but no need with a young Cable.

I have some mixed feelings about Age of X-Man now that it's concluded. I think it started out interestingly enough, but I think it dragged on a bit too long and that really hampered the enjoyment. Some titles were really great reads (Gen Next, Amazing Nightcrawler and most of Extremists and Prisoner X) while others were quite a chore to get through (Apocalypse and the X-Tracts and Marvelous X-Men). I have always enjoyed X-Man even if he's had a problematic history across the board.
