The truth is any real hero would've destroyed the cloud the second it was within their power - Medusa was given the self-destruct button because Marvel didn't want the Inhumans to look like the villains that they were. That scene where BB and Medusa are together and the text says beautiful? Vomit-inducing.

The biggest joke is that even after it became the cloud form the Inhumans were capable of reclaiming it whenever they chose. They simply chose not to because it would contradict the actions of the King.
