Any bets for Cyke trying to talk to Hope only to get blasted in the face with his own powers again? XD
On a completely unrelated note, I just finished reading Great Teacher Onizuka: Paradise Lost. I'm digging the premise-- where the titular characters is imprisoned for a crime he has no regrets committing, and he's recounting the events leading to his imprisonment to an increasing number of inmates and guards enthralled by his tales...
...I kinda wish Cyke had that kind of story, too.

Jean had more presence in death than Cyke in Hickman's entire run.
Hickman succeeded where 2010s Marvel didn't: make the X-Men villainous and irrelevant.
Hilariously, the X-Men have now fully embraced mutant supremacy and racism against humans.

Can't remember which issue it was, specifically, only that it was one of those leading up to AvX. In it, Hope was getting anxious about the impending return of the PF, Cyke attempts to talk to her, then she blasts Cyke before taking off to San Francisco to bust some...thugs I think? Can't remember exactly anymore. Ended somehow with Cyke and Emma consoling her. If I recall correctly, that wasn't the first time either that Hope blasted Cyke with his own powers lol
As for Cyke's immunity, I get the feeling it's been retconned. I mean, earliest instance off the top of my head was Vulcan redirecting Cyke's blast back onto himself, knocking him out long enough for a prime kidnapping.
