They should be more different IMO. For Scott everything about Tyke is as if it happened a long time ago, I think. Adult Scott has suffered and lived much more than Tyke. He has a lot more experience.

I agree that it should be softer and more idealistic than the original adult Scott, but for now Tyke seems to have a disproportionate influence on the mix.

Based on the scans that Havok83 showed in the Emma thread, I move that all of Champions be ignored. I haven't seen a character used as a mouthpiece that bad since Bobby under Jason Aaron.

Nah, I do not think it should be ignored, but it should be something like "How innocent I was when I was young and how little I knew about life" and at the same time "Maybe I can try to be a little better".

Marvel keeps the canon that benefit the narrative that they want to sell, their tastes are clearly far different from us thougth.

Yeah, it seems like the current narrative is to get everything back to its 90's era status or similar. The only problem is that Scott feels more like Tyke than 90's Scott as of now. At the same time, I'm not liking the indications of Tyke's leadership views affecting current Scott. It feels like a setup for a certain team dynamic that's been hinted at. It would be fine to do, but this isn't the way to do it.

I'm pretty sure he is going to put on the 90's suit in #12 or #13 either as a statement or damage to the astonishing suit.

Yeah, he doesn't have to lead, but the current implication is that he is bad at it and shouldn't. At this point I'm not sure how Scott is going to act moving forward, he seems to be all over the place so far. Hopefully, Rosenberg smooths everything out in the next couple of issues.

The 90s one. Just as Logan is in the brown and tan for real.

The difference being that Logan's costume is just a different (and good) color palette of a cool costume. Slim is stuck with the pouches. Here's hoping McKelvie comea back to do his magic on him.
