Comic characters don't age. Sliding timeline and all that. Then there's the, like, 7:1 rule or whatever.

So, the greatest mystery to face mankind, is the questionable ages of comic book characters?

More or less, especially because in comic books is pretty weird to have an exact number and then you get into contradictory information, like Spider-Man suposedly starting at 15, but then you read the Dikto/Lee era and everything seem to point that he was a senior around that period. Is even worse in DC with all the reboots lol.

Does anybody here understands the Scott drinking soup meme?
I see so many pictures of Scott with soup but never understood the joke.

No idea to be honest. I guess the joke is that he's so boring he eats soup. Then again, it's probably his preferred choice because it's the only food his tears don't completely ruin.

You're clearly passionate about the topic, but trust me bro, you care more than Marvel does about this. They either contradict themselves intentionally or don't bother to make sure everyone's on the same page.

Thats from X-Men Seask 1 by Dennis Hopeless.

Jean comments on Scott eating mostly soup and cereal. Others have spun it into a meme.

Ok, thanks. I thought it was something deeper.

How does Scott even cry? I always imagine his eyes like portals shooting energy 24/7.

Hasn't he cried when he was wearing his glasses and not the visor. I am sure I have seen it in the comics before, I just can't remember when.

He's cried with the visor before as well. In Endsong he's quite teary eyed. Not sure if there are other examples considering some views towards Endsong.

Technically speaking, tears flow when there's an increase in tear production-- from lacrimal glands in the superolateral orbit i.e. not in the globe itself-- that offsets the rate of drainage thru the punctum-- the opening in the nasal aspect of the lower lid-- and into the rest of the nasolacrimal system. Assuming it's Scott's eyeballs, and not the orbit itself, that are portals to the punch dimension, it's possible that the lacrimal gland and its drainage system are still intact, especially given that it's simply force, rather than heat, that is emitted. The tears could slide around the side of each globe.

Cyke might suffer the worst case of stye and dry eye syndrome, though.

Jean had more presence in death than Cyke in Hickman's entire run.
Hickman succeeded where 2010s Marvel didn't: make the X-Men villainous and irrelevant.
Hilariously, the X-Men have now fully embraced mutant supremacy and racism against humans.

I remember reading a post in the CyclopsandDeadMemes Tumblr that it had something to do with Cyke always being so tired on all levels-- physically, psychologically, emotionally, etc-- and/or is always busy that he can't muster the energy to make himself even a sandwich. Hence, him and soup. And cereal.

He cried at Cable’s funeral with the visor after Second Coming, Endsong, and when he killed Charles in AvX, just to name a few off the top of my head.

Yeah, I’m just going to stop talking about it. Really no point in carrying on with this if they can’t even get their own stuff together, or worse, intentionally mess with fans, which they do.
    I wrote the book.
