Lordy, Hickman's run can't come soon enough hahaha

Jean had more presence in death than Cyke in Hickman's entire run.
Hickman succeeded where 2010s Marvel didn't: make the X-Men villainous and irrelevant.
Hilariously, the X-Men have now fully embraced mutant supremacy and racism against humans.

It's actually in the best interests of the leader and the group to seek consensus where possible.
Not only that, this was already done before- in Utopia, for example. Rosenberg is the one pretending it never happened.

Along with the not-being-manipulated-anymore part, this would further explains HickmanClops' half-smile from that HoX/Pox image.

TBF, the committee did its job right. Its just that they were dumb enough to let DARK Beast do what he wants while thinking he wouldnt do something evil.

Yes. I have no idea why anyone trust him. He did one mildly decent think and Dani's vouching for him? They should have really known better, especially Cyke.

    Mind-control is Rosenberg's way of hand-waving it.

The extinction team you mean? I got the sense that otherwise Scott was basically running everything else personally or through Emma\the Cuckoos.

They voted on issues, not like anyone can force people like Namor or Magneto to do much.

The extinction team was basically Scott's peers so it makes sense he'd be a little less heavy-handed with them. I didn't get the sense this was the case generally with all the X-teams operating out of Utopia though. I mean the place had a command center and Scott was usually there. Classic command and control tactics.

Sooo... nobody is going to touch the pet name Emma gave Scott?

Didn't mention it in the spoilers thread on account of not wanting to trigger a few select folks, but that bit was just too funny.

Its this one that cuts the deepest. Cause just like Dark Angel Saga, Scott will never know.

Any mention of it might spark something to be honest. Even here...
