Yeah, that’s basically the worst nightmare for most Cyclops fans.

I just found Rosenberg said on Twitter Cyke won’t keep his beard, he argued for yes but was outvoted. God, who voted no?! So our BeardClops will be gone soon, damn.

This worries me the most, especially if they push Jean as overall leader and have him watching her with Bishop from the sidelines.

I don't think that will have much affect. I'm worried that they change from a visionary back to being your run of the mill superhero leader like Kitty, Jean, Storm have been in the last 2 years. Back to a field leader rather then what we have seen this last decade

He should stay an anti hero

I think it will work better if Jean is overall leader and Scott is field leader. She is better fit as the face of the X-men in a diplomatic position and he's better as strategist on the battle field. They have two different styles which can complement each other well

Id rather Xavier take that position if they're going to split it. I'm sick of the care bears direction of the books.

This would be ideal, but I somehow feel as if it makes too much sense for Marvel to do. I'm not sure he'll even lead a team after Uncanny. It all depends on what his team does and what the lasting effects of Age of X are. I mean, what's gonna happen with Kitty? I doubt they will drop her entirely.

I'm pretty sure Jean's presence will have him be written more as a typical hero than as an antihero. Her being around changes a lot of things, which is why I feel the placement of the character into the scenario I described would eventually lead to Tyke 2.0. Marvel could write him as pretty capable perhaps, but if he's stuck in a drama loop, I think that the drama will end up being his new focus and character arc. Being a radical would be traded for redemption and an attempt to gain Jean's affection.

The X-Men have loads of goodie two shoes characters. He's better off as rightsclops. It's a unique position in a sea of characters who already have that archetype role filled. Make him be the Barman of the X-Men

Cyclops should get revenge on the inhumans. Starting with Swaine for manipularing politician and the news again him

I want to believe that he is talking about Disassemble and how Cyke has to set it right and not something else.

There are two ladies on this forum who would be heartbroken to know about this.

It's going to be a sad day on this thread when that happens.

Cyclops won't care about the hitler comments and old grudges when he comes back, just wants to set things right https://twitter.com/AshcanPress/stat...33545003823104

Makes sense. I wouldn't have expected less. Regardless, I'm still hoping that he doesn't end up gaining even more hate from others and ends up in a loop of depression. While it would fit with earlier writing of the character, it gets tedious when the guy can't catch a break.
