This is so much fun.While Alex was adorable and therefore adopted quickly, Scott was weird and scrawny, so no one wanted him.
For much the same reason that prisoners turn to each other for companionship while in jail (lack of other options), Jean Grey eventually began dating Cyclops.
I don't remember the "forgiven" part.Eventually, he was forgiven

Emma has a lot of vocal anti-fans as well. Plus, a lot of her popularity with writers is how she alters the dynamic of groups she is in.
