Reminds me of that Teen Titans episode where Robin goes on a training trip while the rest of the Titans run around the tower cosplaying as him. Imaging the JGS trying out all the different Cyke costumes!

I agree with pretty much all of this - but I think it's important that the X-Men demonstrate that they want Scott there. There's certainly recrimination, shame, and history, but it was Scott's hand that was consistently rejected - it's up to the X-Men to initiate reconciliation. That's the least they could do.

To be honest I would have liked something like that, I think that all the time is the others getting all righteous, Scott taking the blame. By the moment of Scott death I was sad to see that he never got any real friend and all they were judgemental and unforgiving, quickly to blame him for every problem even after his death while being much more understanding and compassionate with mistakes from others.

I really want to see them acting as caring friends instead of harsh judges for a change and show Scott some support.

Actually they did get it right in the original trilogy.

And they also called it "optic blasts" in Apocalypse, but they did still mostly worked like laser for some reason.
