Panels like this really make me wonder if it's a writer's job to keep their work internally consistent, or if it's editorially mandated. I'm not even mad or entertained. I just pity.

With that said, it's a wasted opportunity that they used Steve, rather than, say, Captain Marvel Imagine Mystique/Carol shameless flirting with Cyke and Emma's reaction (of course, assuming that's actually Emma and will care).

"Emma" is literally sitting around and waiting for Scott to call. Epic bonus points for keeping custody of Mystique's phone.

It just dawned on me that if Xavier/Mystique had been together when Xavier formed the X-Men, Mystique would objectively be Cyke's less awful surrogate parent/legal guardian.

I think it was in All New X-Men that Mystique said that she liked Scott because he has been so many toxic relationships that he is already immune to her manipulations.

Like, after things like Maddie there is nothing that she can do to impress him.

Damn, I'd almost scrubbed the existence of the mess that was Bendis!Dazzler from my mind, lol.

Also, I finally got my copy of Champions #5 and the difference between how Scott's treated in it and the last couple issues of Uncanny almost gave me freakin' whiplash.
