So,did Wifi surgically remove the pacemaker within Scott?Or he just left it inside his body? That thing can come back to bite him.
Hell yes!
Absolutely!

Looks like we may have another Cyclops Schism.
Le Suck it, Dolphin!
-God I am so tired.
SCOTT SUMMERS AND EMMA FROST DESERVED BETTER.
Well, I thought the Annual was as good as it could have reasonably been. Getting Cyclops back was my number one expectation and the book delivered that.
Ed Brisson was not reasonably going to be able to reverse the rhetoric around Cyclops. Even if he wanted to, I doubt very much Editorial would allow that. So that left only one option. Make the best story you can with the situation you find yourself in. I feel Brisson delivered on that.
Yes, there were some inconsistencies in both the resurrection story and Kid Cable's motivations, but those are more due to the narrative framework that already existed (Cyke did bad stuff). I enjoyed watching Scott deal with something relatively pure and simple for once. I find that I recognize this version of Scott. He's certainly not Tyke, which was my greatest fear. He's still a leader, he's still motivated to do the right thing, and yes he still struggles with the morality of his past choices. Those have always been elements of Scott's character and it's nice to seem them on display again.
Scott's back!
90% of the thread would be him and FUBAR yelling past each other, lol.
There really isn't a "debate" anymore. Marvel editorial took Rightclops behind the shed and put both barrels through his face. Then dumped the giblets all over Emma's character, blamed her, and walked away.
Who needs original story telling? Just reset everything to 1991. The team is back. Magneto is cartoonishly evil with his Brotherhood on Asteroid M, Emma is cartoonishly evil with the Hellfire Club. I would say it takes balls to spit in the face of literally every paying customer for the last 27 years, but what do I know?
It is pretty amazing that instead of a simple "I wasn't wrong then, but circumstances are different now and we won't be doing things the same way," Marvel just leans all the way into their stupid narrative that holds no weight for anyone who actually read the stories and wasn't a blind hater from the start, lol.
