I'm biased but if one character on the X-books needs less love drama, less love interest and let alone less serious ones is Cyclops. That would only cause more trouble

Summers family bonding time has the risk of becoming ex-wife bonding time. I fully support you're idea. Actually I would like to see Scott figure out his relationship with Rachel and consistently care and be available for her. I know he's not her real dad, but he's all she's got now with the brother she knew being gone and Jean so frustratingly inconsistent.
Actually I'd prefer Scott rescue her from Ahab's clutches instead of running down mutant menaces. Kid Cable must have told him what happened. The Summers family is so frustrating some times.
