Absolutely, yes, have him and his team going after these threats because the ultimate goal is to free Rachel - let her give Ahab the beatdown of a lifetime though.

Scott had a chance with Collen back in the PS IIRC. She's probably capable of taking care of herself, though I'm not sure if she's powerful enough to deal with the stuff the X-Men tangle with on a regular basis. I think they're better options for Scott personally, like Illyana, Emma, Jean or Besty who are all sort of "available" at the moment and have an extensive history with Scott.

I guess I always thought that they had a more simple relationship without the fairy-tale history and expectations that surrounded Jean and Scott.

    Is anything simple with Scott?

I think Scott started out as a deeply simple guy who then had to live through deeply complicated circumstances. He's still a plain toast man, but the people around him keep spreading grape jelly on everything.

Magik would probably be controversial though, don’t you think?

To quote the AiPT article "The Summers-grey family can potentially rule the Marvel Universe but they're too busy dying, resurrecting, creating alternate universes............."

Why? Because she was a child when Scott met her as an adult? Because she's a little bit evil?

If those are the reasons then I think it would be fine. She's been an adult a long time now. She's also been pretty consistently in Scott's corner. If anything the biggest argument against it would be that it would be too similar to his relationship with Emma.

Or are you referring to Illyana's supposed sexual orientation?

That darn grape jelly...why'd it have to be this way?

I don't need them to rule the MU, but would it kill them to just sit down and talk about their feelings. Okay when I put it like that it probably would kill Scott and Rach. She seems to have inherited her father's aversion to talking about her feelings.

...This describes Scott's life to a T once Claremont came on. But of everyone is jelly, who is butter?

Scott is a calculated leader, won't mesh well with her.

Yeah, but we're talking about his personal life right? It might actually do some good for Scott to be with someone who leaves their dirty laundry by the bed.
