    Why on Earth would the Phoenix want to fix Cyke? It clearly, clearly prefers him damaged and miserable.

    The Phoenix didnt play an active role in resurrecting him this last time. Its residual energy did so there wasnt a conscience decision made to keep him like this

    Well, I can't argue with those odds. I mean, at least Hope isn't doing too bad.
