I definitely think it will involve either Elixer or Legion's reality warping powers. Between the rampant deaths and Cyclops' eyeball, Matthew Rosenberg has made so many dramatic changes it's hard to believe any of them will stick. In the interim, I'm more so wondering how his optic blasts haven't been portrayed as noticeably weaker.

Yeah he’s put alot of ppl 6 feet under. I won’t be surprised by a soft reboot after AoXm leading into HoX/PoX. Based on the Art work released we are in for some changes to the status quo.

It's not even that, really. Most of us have made our peace with the fact that Rosenberg had Cyclopean balls-busting quotas to meet, but the last few issues have mostly been about New Mutants/Hope drama nobody asked for and now we're moving on to the "Telepaths on God Mode, how awesomely novel!" phase of the run. Just... yeah.

If I cared in the slightest about UXM theories/spoilers anymore, I might even look forward to what this Emma would do to Hope. Eye for an eye and all that.

He's killed alot of characters but no one really major. The most high profile death was Wolfsbane but she's far from an A-lister and she herself hasnt been important in quite some time so this death has little impact on the line. Joseph, Chamber, Blindfold definitely dont

So it gonna be the 'Rosenberg's run was all a bad dream' retcon? I can live with that, and it's the retcon this run deserves.
