No. JDW has always maintained that Scott is late 20s. I think the number he usually quotes is 28

they barely interacted in Morrison's run but when they did, it wasnt about her not wanting him to lead the X-men. You cant use a word like never and then admit to only starting with the end of their run together as you ignore/miss decades worth of comics which contradicts this. Even what you wrote contradicts what was actually written in Morrison's run.

I am not you, our views on how we took Morrison run are different. I wish you could acknowledge that. Thank you for the examples. Morrison show two people who where not even romantically, his take on the relationship is not even how I saw it in the run. If i said never because it never show in the run.

I have been rereading the original Secret Wars and I noticed that at that time characters like Hulk or Thing referred to Scott as "kid".

I think it was from the 90s / 2000s when it started to look a lot older than that. The fact that Beyonder teleported Scott in the middle of his honeymoon and then returnedhim a week later by dropping him into a bush is stupidly funny. Poor Maddie and Scott.

Morrison is not the bright side of nothing there. Lots of ways to give couple's drama with out cheating in both part.

As for me I dislike that run, there is one issue 116 right at the end. Scott is opening up about what he was feeling. At first he wish for Jean to just read his mind. Then she begans to have a conversation with him and he slowly opens up. Sadly their conversation is cut short and we never see this again.

Deede, Jean in this issue show her kindness and caring for the one she loves. She knows Scott will not open up but she begins talking to him about the way he feels and how thoes emotions would leave soon. But yeah darn you Morrison lol xD.
