It's just, well, firstly, it doesn't match her attitude from last issue at all. Secondly, it's hilarious in its clueless/insanely "affectionate" casualty because she psychically neutered Scott to "protect" him and now she's calling him to bail her out of a jam.

I dunno, maybe it was supposed to get folks to speculate (again) on their relationship status when he died?

Oh, I know. It's just the choice of word that was odd. Had she called him "Darling", I wouldn't have brought it up. Emma used to call Scott that all the time and it could be easily chalked up to an affectionate slip. Given how whiny she was about not knowing whether Scott still loved her or not when he died, it just came across as weird.
