Scott is back, he appeared alive at the end of Extermination #5 who also send the O5 back to their timeline. How he came back is supposed to be explained in the new Uncanny Annual. After that he is going toblead a new team in Uncanny X-Men #11, the story is going to be called "Devastation".

Thank you so much. I think I will wait then. I need to be sure, that Marvel is not trying to kill him again, turn into a villain or disrespect again before giving them my money.

I've always thinking Cyclops/Rogue would be fun to read. But since she's married now, I don't want another drama.
And Cyclops/Storm sounds kinda boring to me.

It just seems like an odd pairing. I'm hoping their dynamic will return to how it was under Claremont when they were close, but I'd never want to see them as a couple. The Storm fans on this board would have a thrombo, so that might put some fun into it.

Scott had already graduated in the last season. So it could have happen.

Still not enthused on that variant. Scott has bulked up and that look is too...alien.

Scott in either extreme has always struck me as weird. IIRC, the first ones to really bulk him up were the Capcom games like the Vs. games, X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse for the SNES. In the latter, he was so bulky that he was one of the slowest in the group, almost as if he was the team muscle, and definitely not the agile fighter who would pull off fancy flips around Horsemen, judo-toss Wolverine, or fire a cartwheel optic blast.

There are some artists that do a nice balance of muscle and adult-lean on him, though.

Yeah, I'm not sure Scott would even consider that important. He rarely initiates anything in the first place. The question is who will go after him.

It's canon that Scott would work long into the night on plans to keep the X-Men safe that each time Emma asked him to come back to bed she wore less each time. And he still ignored her for the most part.
