Hell yes!
Absolutely!
Well, his portable Cerebro makes him look too much like the Maker to not be either misdirection or a hint.
Pretty much anyone looks happier with a lot less duties and essentially everyone you care about (well, apart from his mom, I guess) alive and well. But of course, the last time he was in that configuration (just field leader + with Jean) he was outright miserable.
Pretty sure Cyclops most miserable years were after AvX were he was hated by his friends, family and other superheros. Always on the run and on desperate missions.
His happier years were probably with Cable and Jean on advntures of cyclops and phoenix
You're probably right. And afterwards he find out the multiverse would end. And then he died a pointless, horrible death.
I'd say the 05 years, specially after he reunited with Alex- hell probably his happiest years occurred off-panel.
Xavier wasn't trying to kill him-- just hold him down so that everyone else could.
But, yeah, the writers had it so that the PF amplified thoughts and feelings and made them a reality. It was explicitly stated in Gillen's UXM tie-ins. Cyke murdering Xavier and turning DP was him losing control for the briefest of moments, which was all it took to create damage. Pretty much Cyke's worst fear coming true: him losing control and killing someone.
There were so many stories that could have been told post-AvX, but the writer Cyke got went straight for the ignore button so he could tell his stories with the OC5.
Let your wallet talk.
Never forget, Cyke fans~ https://twitter.com/i/status/1246248602768486402
Jean had more presence in death than Cyke in Hickman's entire run.
Hickman succeeded where 2010s Marvel didn't: make the X-Men villainous and irrelevant.
Hilariously, the X-Men have now fully embraced mutant supremacy and racism against humans.

My interpretation is that Cyclops acted in self-defense and because of the Phoenix the reaction he had was exaggerated and he could not control how much he defended himself.
Xavier was trying to mindwipe him, even told him to reassure him that when this was over he would not remember anything, Scott sure that hearing that he had to remember Deadly Genesis.
It reminds me of the situation of Bruce Banner in Civil War II, where they lead an army just to ask him how he is doing. Anxiety levels skyrocket. Anyone would say that after so many years of dealing with powers that make people mentally unstable they should already know what NOT to do.
Xavier's actual line "Hopefully, when you wake up, you won't have any..."
In light of what Xavier did to the rest of the O5 in Charles Soule's Astonishing X-Men, it would be ludicrous to even suggest Xavier wasn't going to do some serious editing of Scott's recent thoughts/feelings/memories.
X-Office: "No, no, no. Cyclops totally overreacted. Charles Xavier wasn't going to... Wait, he did that? But that was way back... Oh, then too? Yeah, but that was... Oh, really? Dang it, why doesn't anyone tell us these things? We're just editors for crying out loud!"
In all seriousness, though, I do believe Cyclops killing Xavier was totally unnecessary. He rather should've broken the old man's limbs with a flaming wheelchair.
