There's a theory going around that Krakoa is somehow generating all of this as an illusion while it feeds on all of these mutants. And is using mutants to gather more.
Hell yes!
Absolutely!

Interesting theory. I'm getting some sort of impression that whatever this House of X thing is, it is a sinking ship and things are going to be worse for mutants when it all comes crashing down and humans feel more threatened by them than ever. Still can't get over how much I liked Cyclops part in House of X #1. I understand the mixed reception his comment about Reed and Sue's child is getting but all in all, his interaction with the FF was my fav scene in the issue
Just read the issue, and I'm happy with what we got of Scott. He's relaxed almost, I enjoyed his interaction with the FF. Despite the unpleasantness at the end, it was nice to see some friendly interactions.

Let's face it, as soon as humans land on Krakoa, they're going to use anti-mutant technology to gentrify the hell out of it, displacing mutants yet again.
Krakoa doesn't need a Starbucks *and* a Capital One bank/coffee shop across the street from each other, dammit! There's no need for a Whole Foods if the island is already providing organic, all-natural food! Krakoa doesn't need to look like Anytown, USA!
And, hoo-boy, keep an eye out for an increased Sentinel presence just so that the humans "feel safe," after complaining about mutant-on-mutant violence (but suspiciously never ever think about the much more prevalent and statistically higher human-on-human AND superhuman-on-superhuman violence).

perhaps it's a Scott clone and the real one is getting drained by Krakoa
