I love Scott
Hell yes!
Absolutely!
I love Scott
Also, on the topic of the Summers sister, after that real-recognizes-real moment he shared with Storm, she's already Scott's honorary sis.
But we do need a biological sister, indeed.
If Storm is the closest thing for a sister that Scott has then things are looking grim for the poor boy.

I mean.
I feel like we already knew, but I did see a surprising amount of folks express confusion about this on the latest issue (HOX #5).
You know, the whole clone-body-but-still-needs-a-visor thing.
It's in his head, yo.
I guess so!
Honestly, while I've always liked Whedon's psychological trauma explanation, I've always thought Scott's lack of control was a combination of both physical and mental trauma.
But if Hickman is somewhat directly saying it's just psychological, I'm cool with it.

Jean had more presence in death than Cyke in Hickman's entire run.
Hickman succeeded where 2010s Marvel didn't: make the X-Men villainous and irrelevant.
Hilariously, the X-Men have now fully embraced mutant supremacy and racism against humans.

We all know the reason for the visor is branding. Everything else is just a clumsy attempt to explain it away in universe. Because with all those powerful telepaths around, they should easily be able to undo any psychological reasons for his control issues too, not just the physical ones. Unless the real reason is that's just how his power works, and every time control has been shown by someone else duplicating/drawing his power has merely been a continuity error.
Dark does not mean deep.
They don't think Cyke feels strange lately. Like all the characters written by Hikman. At first I was excited for his work, now much less.
Cyke's at least 1 day old now
This is one time where I think the "telepath subliminally manipulates everyone" schtick works well. I think it's in the presentation and the world-building. We all know this won't last, but the current status quo is a far cry better than most things post-2010s/Inhuman Push.
