Miles Morales: The Ultimate Spider-Man Appreciation 2019

My Miles Morales hoodie showed up today.....

Sadly it has to go back because it's way too small to wear. Seems that it was sized for people from the country it's made from-China. Now that explains why the guy I saw at the last comic con could barely fit his. He was the size of Kingpin but still-at least my came in the USA and not shipped from China like his.

Good question. Would be interesting to see Ben and Miles working together after where Spider-Geddon left Ben as a character.

That's a very good point. Why haven't Miles and Anya teamed up yet?

Probably because Anya's been off world. She has no family left, so she has nothing to stick around for. Up to Spider-Geddon, she probably spent most of her time on Loomworld. It's only very recently that she'd have returned to 616, and there's no guarantee she went back to Brooklyn.

Interested what role Miles may potentially be playing in this Venom event given that crossover the two had last year and the fact that Miles is curiously enough one who the few heroes not to have been a symbiote host before.

Yeah, he didn't appear in Venomized (some of the other Champions did, but not him).

Donny Cates has also gone on record multiple times stating how much he likes Miles and wants to keep finding ways to write for the character down the road somehow. No coincidence that Venom issue #3 was one of his favorites to write.

Marvel Rising preview. Oddly, Kamala mentions being an ex-Avenger and Champion, but says Miles is just someone she's teamed up with sometimes, and a friend - despite the fact the reason they're friends is because he was an Avenger and Champion too!

It would've been harder to contrive a way for Miles to get a Symbiote with what was going on with them around the time of his final run.

Now that I think about it, I think Miles sat out of the big "everyone gets infected by a Symbiote arc" in the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon. I don't think there's even been a cover with him wearing a Symbiote (other then fighting Venom).

Coincidentally, he has the same colors as Carnage and Toxin...

The Rising comics are set on Earth-616. Doreen and Kamala met for the first time in the previous run. Miles suddenly being invited to something with Inferno and Squirrel Girl is a bit odd, as I don't think he'd even met them before. Perhaps the preview isn't the beginning of the issue?

Also uncle Aaron was named after my kids actual uncle Aaron. True story: Now my kids are old enough to see this movie and REALLY questioned me who their uncle Aaron is when he’s not around them :-)
