Yeah, that design isn't quite right. If that's meant to be her first costume, the cowl isn't supposed to cover her eyes. Covering up the eyes is very much a Wasp II thing (Hope and Nadia use helmets).

It's not right because I don't think it's an actual licensed thing :P They are just copying her? Which is nice, it increases her profile

Tales to Astonish #57 Jul 1964
"A Voice in the Dark!"
Running late for a meeting with Giant-Man, the Wasp decides to save time by throwing a coat over her Wasp costume
and walking to Henry Pym's house. Along the way she spots a suspicious looking man crawling into a manhole.

Dismissing it at first, she soon stumbles upon the fact that a local jewelry store has just been robbed.
Shrinking down to ant-size, the Wasp chases after the crook and tries to take him down in the dark sewers without his notice.

Everything failing, she tracks the crook to an abandoned subway maintenance room where she
comes up with the idea of amplifying her voice with a scrap of paper folded into a cone shape.

She tells the crook that she's the Invisible Girl which the crook believes since he can hear a woman but can't see one
and that he should surrender before the rest of the Fantastic Four arrive. The crook quickly surrenders and is arrested.
When the Wasp finally arrives at Giant-Man's lab, Henry is furious that she's so late. She explains to him what happened,
and he gets even madder still that she'd take credit for a job that the radio reports was done by the Invisible Girl.
