Glad you liked them! This is an oil painting on wood, so there's a lot of texture that you don't really see in normal photos. And that's one of the best things about original art; holding it in your hands and being able to study the brush strokes and all the details you don't normally see.

X-23 is almost certainly ending with #12, by the way. There's always a slight chance it will relaunch, but it would be with a new creative team.

Well, the June solicits effectively confirmed that X-23 is ending and the final issue hints that there will be a break between Laura and Gabby. But that may free them both up to go do their own thing for a while and that could be good for both of them. I'd love to see Gabby heading up a new team, possibly a New Mutants team or another Young X-Men team. She would instantly make any time more adorable, by default.

Gabby's already listed on the Champions Reinforcement Roster, so maybe Zub has plans for her there. I think there'll probably be two X-Men teams - Logan can go on one and Laura on the other?

Yeah, that's Gabby's second costume, the one she was using when she first took the Honey Badger name. Which makes it two costumes out of date (X-Men Red and the current one being the newer ones). Perhaps that scene is a flashback?
