I hope the NYX comment hints that Kiden may finally put in another appearance. I'd really like to see the fact Laura has apparently NEVER bothered to try getting them off the streets addressed. Can you imagine how much a top-level telepath Jean or Emma could help Li'l Bro? I mean even an, "I tried to offer them a place at the school but they declined" is all it really takes.

I tried to find his Tweet on the NXM but must have missed it. Anyone have a link?

I think you need to just work on the assumption that Laura Kinney, being a good person, offered help that was either accepted or not, in a way that was spectacularly unexciting. Even a line could feel crowbarred in if you consider having to add in an Editor's note for characters who, let's face it, have made very few appearances in the 15 years since they first appeared.

Laura has historically not been a great friend so it’s not totally out of character to imagine that she didn’t.

Yeah, it's AU - specifically, a pocket universe inside the Soul Stone. And she's not even called Gabby in WarpWorld. Somehow, merging with Pietro Maximoff caused Speed Weasel's civilian name to be Gavrill Kinney. I don't know where the vrill part came from, because it's certainly not from Quicksilver's name.

Captain Peace actually, because Carol was already merged with Justice Peace. Their combined form is called Weapon Peace. Presumably "Star Weasel" will have been merged with someone too - probably one of those Squadron Supreme/New Universal combos. Blurrer seems most logical because Blur and Whizzer are both speedsters like Quicksilver.

Fair point. Either way, we're debating something that would be cool to see, but making absolute declarations about characters off-panel actions, or inaction, in a massive, overstuffed universe where space in the actual comics themselves is at a premium, is essentially pointless. Which, sure, lots of speculation is so I'm not harshing on anyone's speculation (headcanon is fun, after all) but I think until we're shown something definitive it just has to be left as a unknown. Laura Kinney in the X-23 one shot vs Laura Kinney now with Gabby would potentially be very different towards the NYX kids but you could make a case for either Laura to help them out directly, or not.
