She's always been called a clone. Heck, the first story arc of the post-All-New Wolverine had a lot about how she felt about being a cloned human. Besides, the writer of Adamantium Agenda did go on record that the retcon of her sharing DNA with her mother wasn't supposed to alter her status as a clone (it just meant that her DNA was modified further from Wolverine's then originally thought).
