2018 was a pretty strong year for Mera, so hopefully that continues into 2019 .

I am a relatively new fan of Mera's. I read a few Aquaman comics prior to the movie and always liked her character, but ever since the movie has come out, I have been on a Mera binge. I downloaded her 3D model from DC Unchained and have been creating desktop backgrounds, etc. for myself. I would like to share some now and contribute to this new thread.

Blackest Night/Brightest Day was where I first really discovered and fell in love with Mera. Johns' run cemented her as one of my favorite characters .

Yeah, I never understood why Aquaman believed her lie about Xebel being a water-world. Pre-Johns, Aquaman had been to Xebel and encountered other Xebellians.

Can't remember if this is the case but can Mera freeze water?

I don't think she can.

Other then being able to draw out and control water from various sources, I don't think she can really change it's properties like that.

She could probably draw on water from ice, though.

Aqualad's mother is a Xebelian and she can harden water to make weapons, but I don't know about freezing, as in changing the temperature.
