    Default Arthur Curry's best hairstyle?

Not really a legit Aquaman fan (yet: I haven't seen his movie so far) myself, but I'm curious enough to get the pulse of those who are (i.e. Arthur is easily a top 3 hero for you) on this very important subject:

What is your preferred hairstyle for the King of the Seas?

Note: strictly talking about his hair, and from the neck-upwards only (scalp + face). Not at all about his costumes or other clothing.

    A) short hair on scalp, clean-shaven face, aka The Super Friend

    B) long hair on scalp, clean-shaven face, aka The Fabio

    C) short hair on scalp, trimmed beard on face, aka The Young Brave & Bold Justice

    D) mop hair on scalp, sideburns and stubble on face, aka The Roguish Pirate

    E) long hair on scalp, long beard on face, aka The King Arthur

    F) other hairstyle for Arthur (please cite)

    G) honestly have no preference for Arthur's hairstyle

    Poll forthcoming.

Short hair on scalp, clean-shaven face, for classic and standard Aquaman.

Long hair and beard for PAD's Savage Aquaman and Momoa.

I prefer the short hair and trimmed beard then short hair and clean shaven.

Long haired/long bearded Arthur is my least favorite look.

    Me:

    King Arthur all the way.

Give Arthur the long hair and beard.

Visually, it separates Arthur from the cookie-cutter, clean-cut, All-American look that Clark, Bruce, Barry, and Hal typically all share.

I like Aquaman with long hair, but I vote for short hair and short beard, like in Batman The Brave and Bold or at the end of Johns's run on Aquaman.

I feel like a better representation of "The Super Friend" would be Ivan Reis' Aquaman:

That's fine. It actually illustrates my point of view a bit better: to me, from the neck-up that guy looks like a palette-swapped Kal, Bruce, or Hal. Or just like Barry forgot to comb his hair.

It looks basic, generic, standard-issue, and forgettable, IMHO of course

He should try a handlebar mustache with a Marge Simpson beehive!

I agree with this. The long hair and beard gives him a distinct look. When you see the beard and long hair you know right away it’s Aquaman even if he’s in street clothes.

I always dug the beard and long hair look too.
As much as I LOVE Jim Aparo's work, I can't give him my vote....

Prefer clean shaven but if he has a beard I prefer a short one like the YJ version.
