No. Rachel has never dealt with Stryfe. Not even as Mother Askani outside of when she cloned him. They purposely sent Rachel away post her battle with Necrom so that the Phoenix wouldn't be a player in X-Cutioner's Song. I don't think Styfe knew Rachel was Mother Askani.

I am ambivalent to this development as while it is nice that they remember she's around, it means that we will continue to be subjected to stories where she is subservient or controlled by villains. I'm tired of it. Either make her a full fledged villain on her own right, rescue her, or kill her. Having her be her brother's lapdog now makes it even more creepy.

Fantastic to see she hasn’t benn forgotten about, despite her less than stellar predicament. Hope Kid Cable frees her from Houndom and she joins X-Force to exact revenge on Ahab and (now apparently) Stryfe

I hope she gets free of this by X-Force 8, it just makes me incredibly sad to keep having her be a slave over and over. I hope she can break free of her programming in this two issue arc.

This one (while gross) at least makes a bit more sense. Ahab controlled her, and turned her over to Stryfe before getting arrested by Callahan. So it's more a continuation of Ahab than anything Stryfe is doing.

Still feels super gross though.

I just wanted to come into this thread to say that all you fans of Rachel have my condolences in these tough times. It's not easy seeing one of your favorites getting thoroughly thrashed by the X-Office. To clarify that's not shade or snarkiness, I do mean it.

This, and considering that the only thing the X-Office has done with /to her in the past two years has been mind control or being a hound it feels like they are trying to make this her status quo. Which is gross.
