Dark Phoenix again? I hope not.

Well if Jean refused Phoenix it is natural that the entity go after his daughter.

We already knew that she would have some important participation because of another cover. Powers of X seems to happen in the future or something like that.

yeah I saw that but the cover center photo is Jean....I would rather they had used current Jean instead of Phoenix Jean....or put Phoenix Rachel in center

As the head is growing out of the left-hand side rather than the centre of the torso, I think there is room to put Rachel's head on the right next to Jean's to create a super-Phoenix!

Seriously, it looks odd. I wonder if the image had to altered at the last minute for some reason.

I sometimes envision Rachel’s Hound Marks when I see ..

If nothing else, Dark Phoenix Sophie could make for some fun fan film editing.

Chris Claremont once said that he wanted Sophie to play Rachel and that Apocalypse should have faced the original cast.

I would like to see her in the role in the MCU.

I freaking love Magickmarker.

And while I think the intention was to portray the "Dark Phoenix" Jean version on that cover art, Jean never had short hair when she was DP, whereas when Rachel wore that costume she did. I would say Rachel but they were trying for Jean. Also the proportions are all off on that image anyways. I do love that she's on the side in her hound Phoenix costume though.

So we are 8 days away from the finale of X-Force, and likely 2 days away from any preview art. What are people's thoughts on how this will play out for our favorite underdog heroine? Given that we know a little bit more that Rachel is in fact not under Stryfe's control as the solicit says.

Does she stay in the future where she has no ties to anyone or anything, and therefore screws with the timeline?

Does she return back to the past where she thinks she could do the most good?

Does she die helping team Wi-Fi get to the past?

Will we ever learn how Stryfe learned her identity as a teen but did nothing while he was in the past?
