I really wish Marvel could hire some of the people behind Young Justice to do a Marvel show. It be incredible to see the Marvel world through their lens. They really seem to understand the characters and the art style on that show is amazing. Even with the lower budget they are running on for Season 3

I have only seen those clips since I found out that Namor was replaced in that cartoon and I already hate everything about it. Also I am so tired of Atlantis and Wakanda being forever linked in some way. It never ends well for Atlantis imo.
DC's biggest success was their animated shows, since Batman the animated series they have only gotten better and have countless shows and movies that a very decent and at least get most of the characters right, Marvel in comparison does not equal the animated genre in any way, the x-men should have been a thriving cartoon show, even before rights issues the most faithful adaption was the old x-men cartoon. If Namor had a cartoon though the 90s and early 2000s he would be almost a household name or at least have some presence.
I have always advocated for a animated Namor and Atlantis over a live action one simply because the beauty and difficulty of an underwater world could be more perfectly captured for a longer period of time with a long running animated show.
"No one should ever question where my allegiance lies." - Namor of Atlantis
Marvel posted a video about Lady Dorma, while I think they have a few facts wrong (saying she was a princess of atlantis when she was a noble woman and even in the end could be called a queen since she did marry Namor legally with the paperwork even if the ceremony was never completed?) it is still nice that remember the first leading Lady of Marvel.

Sorry just fixed it! I see what you mean so she would technically be a princess, also I don't know when Namor got the upgrade from Prince to King like which issue did that happen? I remember once reading a writer response to a fan asking why he was called prince and the answer was that Namor didn't want the title of King or Emperor cause it was only Neptune who was the true ruler and Namor was acting in his stead? I need to track down that letter again.

This was on my homepage of Youtube this morning
It's part one to the Namor v. Aquaman Death Battle where they explain Aquaman's background.

This was so awesome, what a great surprise! Wish Marvel would ressurect this great character, Lady Dorma and Vashti are staples of the Namor universe. Hopefully we get to see them as Namor starts getting some more screen time at Marvel comics, and in the case of lady Dorma a resurrection is really overdue.
I was thinking that in recent years Namor is always presented very much like a lonely ruler, which many times gives an impression of a tyrant and even villainous. One thing Stan Lee did was he placed Lady Dorma and Lord Vashti always at his side. A woman and and old man gave his rule a much more benign democratic image. Something I think needs to come back in order for the image of a heroic Namor that fights for what is right to return.
Also the trunks made Namor look more heroic, like a man of action that had taken the throne out of obligation to his people, more a champion than diva. That costume he wore with the high collar and the deep cleavage made him look like a total diva.

??? How are they ancient Atlanteans? Is there a modern Atlantis? Why aren't the diplomats meeting there? That wasn't a time travel show, AFAIK. And that was unlike any Attuma I've ever seen in comics. Maybe he was that way in previous cartoons, but in this one, this was obviously an ugly cut out for Namor -- which just sucks all around. I really wish they would just leave Atlantis out of these Black Panther stories.
And I STILL don't understand how Attuma and Tigershark, clearly Namor rogues, can appear in media, but Namor can't.
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?
