I didnt mean to imply it was age specific but that persona doesnt define him anymore. Logan is a bad boy type. Sunspot is nothing on that level. Its something that was how he was characterized and portrayed as a child, but he grew out of it a long time ago, especially as he became leader of the Avengers. Its complete regression to take him back to his old status quo

or proof that people don't change+he was kinda stale when he was leading that Avengers team.
He was like a *sometimes* Tanner version of Tony Stark

I wonder if under hickman mutant powers were be classfiied neatly.. For Monet, I wonder how might he reframe her abilities under a singular mutation that gives her Intelligence, Strength, Telepathy, Speed, Flight, Invulnerability, etc ... Also it seems like all the St.Croix kids have multiple abilities outside of the ability to merge with each other which should get a name

She's looking great. Melaninated and all. And again, I am a fan of her simple red & yellow costume. I wouldn't mind seeing that make a comeback, long as she's the only one wearing it and not part of a set.

She was pretty dark when Razzah did her on the final Weapon X cover last Dec. I'd have liked to see her in his style again.


But yeah, she's nicely brown & beautiful on this variant. I hope this is a sign that her coloring will be right in HOX and continue to be so under Hickman's watch.

I am not big on AF variants either, but Monet looks great here. So I am loving it. It's nice to finally get a HOX variant for her.
