Speaking of which, anybody feel that Duggan's run is underrated? It felt like a breath of fresh air after the Aaron and Waid runs, and I think was much better than a lot of Pak's more recent Hulk work.
I'd say that it has its merits, and I do agree that it's better than part of Pak's run.

It suffered a lot fro SW just being shoved in and destroying what could be an interesting run.

Btw, Abomination concept art by Joe Bennett!

Damn it...They are Rick Jones copies in agony!
I love this art and it very much appeals to the Predator fan in me with the hand mandibles (handibles?). What have I been missing out on? Definitely grabbing as much as I can next time I'm at the comic shop.

I thought something like that could happen.

Predator is the main source, indeed. But I kind of see the Creeper (from Jeepers Creepers) too.

Anyone seen previews for the Incredible Hulk: Last Call #1? If i am not mistaken it's supposed to come out next week.

Late to the party but man what a great issue. The Jones Abomination is truly horrifying and I’m looking forward to seeing what Ewing plans for him. I really hope Ewing does plan to do an issue set in Bruce’s mindscape, because man do I want to see how the other Hulks feel about what is going on. And that could be the absolute perfect setting for this horror run on Hulk.

The good thing is that we have only to wait less than two weeks to know what'll happen in #19! It was a torture having to wait six weeks from #17 to #18.

I have never been a Hulk fan, until your current run. You and Joe Bennett are an awesome duo. Please tell me you have insanely long term plans for Banner

    @freighttrain_md
    Pretty long term, yes.

It is. Not only it's been growing in the top 100, it's even more impressive how comic shop owners rave about how much it's selling and how fast it happens.

    • Jan 2019: Immortal Hulk #12 - 41331
    • Feb 2019: Immortal Hulk #13 - 40496

That 45k is borderline believable as interest growing (there's a bunch of reorders/reprintings in April hovering around the 3-5k mark, although that includes #14 itself, so...).

53k is dubious, especially in the same month as #14.

That 90k? There's some overshipping/variant cover/huge discount/other shenaniganly thing to account for that. There is no sustainable way a book, with a continuing creative team & story, doubles in sales from one month to the next. None.

(40k is still decent, please note. Even at that, the book's in no real danger of cancellation. I just want to temper expectations).

Quick question, is the IH Hardcover worth it if I already have the current TPB's?
