I'm excited but at the same time disappointed. The book being so close means that it's unlikely Marvel will do anything to promote it before the preview next week.
Marvel has done no promo for the book at all not a single interview and not a single panel shown. It's so frustrating that Sue finally gets a book and Marvel doesn't support it at all, especially when books like this need all the support they can get.

We know how the sales will go because Marvel has done nothing, and people will use them as an excuse to say that the character doesn't deserve another book in the future. Because let's be real, many fans love it when some books fail. It's all so frustrating and I'm starting to think this book was thrown out to shut fans up or something like keep the trademark.

I should have seen the signs when the book was announced. Even then it felt like an afterthought, just compare it to the Jane Foster Valkyrie book that was announced the same month:

Jane's announcement had an interview with the creative time plus an early look at the interiors, it shows that Marvel cares. While Sue's only got a basic synopsis.
I still hope Sue's book does well, and if nothing else the continued re-investment by Marvel into the FF means she'll have more chances no matter how the mini fares .

If the book is really good, which with the creative team it's got a good chance to be, it may get some good word of mouth. That way it may sell well in trade and give Marvel incentive to give her another book in the future.
I guess now it's all up to the quality of the book itself.

That looks like Arthur Adams art. Definitely not his best work.

It's silly of me to still hope that Marvel does something, but today's the last day that it will likely happen.

Next week will be the preview so they won't do anything then. Today's the day to see if Marvel will even slightly promote the book....

I initially wasn't a fan of the spy story being the plot for her first book, but it has really grown on me. There is a lot of potential that comes with it for developing the character and providing interesting stories for the future.
For example, it seems like none of her family know. This can present some interesting character interactions and moments if they ever are to find out, especially between her and Reed. Usually Reed is the one keeping secrets, so it would be interesting to see how things play out when the tables are turned. It would provide drama that isn't the same old of Reed lying or Namor being a pest.

Then there's all the shady things that come with being a spy and how she handles that. Like how does she react to the seedy underbelly of the world (if the story delves into that)? How many times has she saved the world without anyone knowing and she feels about that?
I'm especially interested in the potential villains and allies she gets.

There is so much that can come from this and it's only a week away. I'm getting excited!
