PSA: If you have DC Universe, the full run of Jaime’s first solo series from 2006 are all on it now! (All 36 issues). If you haven’t read it yet, I definitely suggest to do it now!
Ted with Jaime a CLOSE second.
Haven't read enough Dan Garrett issues to make an informed opinion.
"My name is Wally West. I'm the fastest man alive!"
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.
I really think Dan is a perfect candidate for a book set between the end of the JSA and the formation of the JLA. It's a period that gets touched on from time-to-time but never really explored, especially with the sliding timeline. It could focus on non-JSA GA heroes who might still be operating in that time period (the Bob Grayson Robotman, the All-Star Squadron Firebrand (or Wildfire, if they want to go back to her original inspiration), Judomaster), new heroes that could debut in that gap without impacting either team (Captain Comet), and the rise of the non-super adventurer (Challengers of the Unknown, Johnny Peril, Dr. Thirteen, the Sea Devils).
Not to mention the immortal types like Jason Blood getting in the mix, too.

Done with DC. Can't handle the constant whiplash! Time to go on a hiatus!

Jaime Reyes is my personal favorite version of Blue Beetle.
