It was done before New 52 and on Young Justice show. Originally Posted by Falcon16
Brightest Day introduced him and there were plans for him to show up. New 52 screwed that up.
Rebirth bought him back as a gay male and he had an arc in Teen Titans. And he got tossed away like so many Titans until Aquaman book decided to use him. So hopefully we get a fleshed out character.

Comics Aqualad has been gay pretty much from jump, at the very least since New 52 which was a year after his debut. He could be bi but that would be an odd retcon because they've shown no hints toward him being bisexual this far. Originally Posted by dkrook

Woah! I've mentioned how I loved Brightest Day's depiction of Jackson with those braids/mini-dreads. I'm happy to see they're finally exploring the braids/mini-dreads look again, with blond tips at their ends, it seems.
Need to see a full-body shot and a full-facial/head shot of Aqualad now!
