Nope. Zemo's just throwing whatever at the Punisher. It's mostly been generic a Hydra goons.

Back in Punisher 226 & 227, Helmut has a small posse of Crossbones, Taskmaster, and Ghost. But they were not acting as tbolts

Besides Ennis and Rucka, what other Punisher's run would you recommend to read, i have been curious about Chuck Dixon's work on the character, but i don't know what else to look at.

In the 80's, the most successful would be the Punisher mini-series from Steven Grant & Mike Zeck. During the 90's, John Ostrander's Punisher is considered a consistently interesting read compared to the previous run.

Since you mentioned him, Chuck Dixon teamed with John Romita, Jr. for Punisher WarZone during the 90's. Later on, Dixon & Eduardo Barreto worked together on Marvel Knights (a 15-issue series which ended in 2001, and featured the Punisher throughout).

The Punisher is... a strange character for me. I detest his methods and way of thinking, but I like how in a world of superheroes he exists. I wish the other Marvel characters actually tackled him and his methods more. They seem to conveniently ignore him most of the time. I love how Greg Rucka wrote him, he was kinda this wondering soul, not Frank Castel, but a ghost that simply existed for his mission. Really liked Rachel Cole too. Shame she has not been used much since...

Just read issue 14 and all I can say after the news the 16 is most likely the last issue of this run you will love this issue as it sets everything in motion just like the War machine story.

Agreed. Reading Frank shoot the breeze with old colleagues was certainly a wonderful sight to see.

Just sad news that everything will be coming to an end, though.
