That is almost a running gag in the series. IIRC, in the first episode of the animated series, the losers confront Bruce stating "We're the Jokerz"--and Bruce actually breaks a smile as he mocks "Sure you are." Getting Bruce to laugh? That's hard! Or, as Terry once observed "Get a clue. He doesn't HAVE a sense of humor!
