I'm guessing other kids. Though we can rule out anyone who's been on a New Mutants team before, so not Surge or Prodigy (who were on the Academy X New Mutants) nor Strong Guy (who was in the Dead Souls team) as it's meant to be characters who've never been New Mutants, period.

It could, of course, basically be the team from Age of X-Man: Nextgen, which means Glob, Armor, Anole, Rockslide (who was a Hellion, not a New Mutant, so he does meet the criteria despite already being in a New Mutants book) and Pixie.

most of Brisson’s titles have been so damn boring. Can’t wait for the second arc where Dani, Shan, and Illyana all randomly leave the team so we can get Glob hogging the spotlight because he’s so quirky and weird.

It definitely see Glob but it may not be the NextGen/New X-men kids. There are other Gen Xers not here that could make the cut like Synch, Skin, Husk and Maggot (whom Brisson wrote in NextGen)

Kind of dampened my enthusiasm I can’t lie. I get frustrated with writers pushing characters because they like them but fans don’t. Glob is one of those characters for me.

I know, but in the interview, he say’s there’s going to be a team that have never been New Mutants. I’m willing to wait and see, but I’ve gotten into the New Mutants recently and was pleased to see them.
